Battle of the Concealers

Everyone knows about the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer but surprisingly this isn't the only drugstore concealer that exists and there are ones which are better than the Collection one. Personally i prefer the L'Oreal True Match Concealer and now i'm going to explain why..

I've been using the Collection concealer for at least a year and whilst i was a student i was completely skint so now that i'm working i can actually afford to spend a few more pounds on a concealer. The Collection concealer is amazing for the price of it, normally it is £4.19 but i managed to get it for half price in some places and £4.19 is pretty cheap anyway. It is a thick concealer which does last a while and covers up those pesky spots. However the problem with this, is that, it is a very drying concealer therefore its not very good for under your eyes because you want to keep as much moisture under your eyes as possible so that you look more awake. This makes the Collection concealer great for spots because spots need to be dried out but i don't want more than one concealer for my eyes, spots and redness so i started to look for a concealer that covered all of these.

This is where the L'Oreal True Match Concealer comes in. It has a much thinner consistency but still has a good coverage. The shade (i have 02 Vanilla) is much more brightening than the Collection one so it works better under your eyes because of the less drying formula and its brightening properties. It covers spots and redness better than the Collection concealer and overall i just think it is much better. The L'Oreal Concealer is £6.99 so its not that much more expensive but it saves you from having to buy two different concealers for two different parts of your face. My only tip for this is, is use a brush to apply the concealer from the back of your hand so you don't spread the spots over your face.

I want to know what your favourite drugstore concealer is and have your tried the L'Oreal True Match Concealer, what do you think of it?
