Last week when i spoke about Topshop's Brighton Rock Lipstick it reminded me how much i love this lipstick and how underrated it is. I think that the Topshop lipsticks are slightly overlooked because they can't be bought in Boots or any of the other stores designated for make-up however they shouldn't be because they genuinely are amazing lipsticks. They have such a variety of shades ranging across every lipstick shade you can think of and at the moment they are displayed in store next to nail polishes which goes with that shade of lipstick so you can match your make-up as well as your clothes which i think is an amazing idea and it looks very pretty. If i could be bothered to paint my nails as often as i changed my lipstick i would, but unfortunately i am way too lazy but if you manage to do that i want to meet you and congratulate you on your commitment to looking good.
The formula of the Topshop lipstick is amazing, it feelss very buttery when you put it on the lips and it feels quite lightweight, you don't even notice it is on. The colour applies evenly and smoothly on the lips and stays put for a surprisingly long time. The quality of these lipsticks is just as good and maybe even better than some of the make up brands you find in Boots or Superdrug. Brighton Rock is of course a pink shade (i don't buy anything that isn't pink) but it has a slight warmth to it, it has more of an orangey undertone rather than blue which is why i think i like it more than other bright pinks which are more cool toned. When i wear it, it lights up my face and makes me look super summery. I am sad that summers over because i won't wear this lipstick as much and will opt more for berry shades but the moment the sun shines next Spring/Summer i will be wearing it again. Listen to me, looking forward to next Spring already.
